How it works

The five rules.

  1. 01

    Pick one task

Commit to a single focused task. No multitasking during the 25 minutes.

  2. 02

    Work for 25 minutes

No email, no notifications. If something distracting comes up, write it down and come back to it.

  3. 03

    5-minute break

Stand up, drink water, stretch, rest your eyes. Do not use your phone.

  4. 04

    After 4 cycles, long break

Take 15-30 minutes. A proper rest improves the next session's focus.

  5. 05

    Repeat, track, refine

Notice when your focus drops. Adjust the interval. Make the technique yours.
