Ashin is the founder and software developer behind Acloom. He started building it after watching his wife spend hours reconstructing notes from long nursing lectures, recordings, and slides.

Why it exists
Less context switching after class
Long lectures create two competing jobs: understand the instructor and capture enough detail to study later. The first version of Acloom transcribed a recording and created basic notes. That helped, but it still left students moving a transcript and slides between separate tools to request flashcards, quizzes, and explanations.
Acloom became a session-based workspace instead. A recording, transcript, supporting resources, notes, practice materials, and Tutor conversation stay associated with the same class session. The product is designed around that continuity rather than a one-off AI response.

Transcripts and generated materials can contain errors. Important content should be checked against the original course sources.
Sustainable pricing
AI processing, storage, and support have real costs. Plan allowances aim to keep the service useful without promising an unsustainable unlimited product.
